Over the years, I have undertaken a wide variety of job roles. After successfully gaining a place on an MSc in Clinical Psychology to become a Clinical Child Psychologist in the future, I decided to terminate my studies and find a role that provided job satisfaction, without the academic pressure associated with a master’s degree.

I have always had a deep interest in medicine and the human body from both physiological and psychological perspectives. During my undergraduate degree, I developed a passion for online research, which I then utilised during a decade-long struggle with the skin condition, rosacea. Having undergone the standard treatment plus exploring an alternative and holistic route which helped immensely, I decided to tell my story and expand into content writing (from a scientific approach), from which ‘apuralife’ was formed.

Initially, I intend to work within the content writing industry but ideally would like to move into other areas over time, such as utilising research skills and exploring product development. On that note, I am hugely passionate about design in various forms: product, industrial and interior design, including the relatively new concept of ‘wellness design’. I have a keen eye for detail and enjoy utilising strategic, analytical and problem solving skills.
